Job summary

Home Instead Care in Luton is looking for compassionate Care Workers to provide companionship, home help and personal care to clients in the community. You will offer conversation, assist with meals, monitor wellbeing, arrange activities, and help with appointments and light housekeeping.

Full training is paid and there are no formal qualifications required. Join our supportive team to help clients live independently with dignity and respect in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and conversation
• Monitor diet and eating
• Provide medication reminders
• Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities
• Arrange appointments, activities and outings
• Organise mail and write letters
• Assist with walking (lending an arm to steady)
• Accompany to appointments and social events
• Run errands/collect prescriptions etc
• Provide light housekeeping/complete laundry
• Make beds/change linen
• Organise and tidy cupboards
• Plan, prepare and tidy away meals
• Answer the door
• Assist with pet care
• Help with shopping
• Help with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with continence care
• Assist to eat and drink
• Provide dementia/ Alzheimer care
• Provide respite/ convalescence care
• You don't need any formal qualification to be good Care Worker. Training provided in our branch in Luton.
• All of our Online as well as Inhouse training will be paid.

• Plan, prepare and tidy away meals
• Answer the door
• Assist with pet care
• Help with shopping

PERSONAL CARE SERVICES

Basic function

To provide professional companionship services and also the following

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Help with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with continence care
• Assist to eat and drink
• Provide dementia/ Alzheimer care
• Provide respite/ convalescence care

You don't need any formal qualification to be good Care Worker. We will provide you professional training in our branch in Luton.

As long you have good communication skills and show empathy towards our clients. We will support and help you to become good Care professional.

All of our Online as well as Inhouse training will be paid.
