Job Description:

As a CARE Professional at Shoreham, Petts Wood & Longfield, you will travel to the house of clients and provide a range of care services to enable them to continue to live independently in their own homes. At HI, we provide non-medical services (personal care, house-help, and companionship services) and are looking for someone with flexible working hours to join our team. We seek individuals with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a genuine difference in the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities may include:

  • Morning routines when clients wake up
  • Evening routines before bedtime
  • Assisting with jobs around the home
  • Cooking meals
  • Going shopping or to appointments
  • Taking clients to day care centres or church
  • Encouraging interests and hobbies
  • Providing companionship
Qualifications

You do not need any experience or specific qualifications to become a CARE Professional. However, it is advantageous to have some experience working in a care setting or interacting with older people, which could include:

  • Personal experience caring for a family member
  • Voluntary experience
