Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Care Professional with guaranteed contracted hours to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care management team
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events during shifts
  • Collaborate with other care professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Adapt care plans to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client
  • Promote clients' independence and dignity at all times

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting older people in a professional or personal capacity is desirable
  • Confident in the use of a mobile phone and basic technology
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of individual clients
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends and provide continuity of care
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for client visits and outings
  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Empathy and patience when working with vulnerable individuals
  • Willingness to participate in our award-winning training programme
  • Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK (we are not sponsoring visa applications at this time)

Additional Information

  • From £13.50per hour for flexible contracts.
  • Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
  • Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
  • Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualificationssuch as TheCare Certificate, NVQ diplomas and Level 2 certificates in a variety of topics
  • Paid holiday - accrues at a rate equivalent to 5.6 weeks a year pro rata
  • Regular working pattern with 1- hour minimum visits to regular clients.
  • Out of hours support from the Office team
