Job summary

GoodOaks in Barnet and Enfield is seeking a dedicated Care Professional to deliver compassionate visiting care in clients' homes, with flexible hours and supportive management.

No experience required and we provide paid training, with opportunities for career progression. You’ll perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, and may accompany clients to appointments, while upholding dignity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• You’re able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• You can demonstrate professionalism and treat people with respect.
• You’re reliable, trustworthy and can maintain client confidentiality.
• You have the physical stamina to perform home care tasks.
• You have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• You’re willing to undertake a DBS check to work with vulnerable adults.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with the client.
• Provide assistance with daily household tasks and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironing.
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking.
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming (if required).
• Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medication (if required).
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required).
