Job description

Here at Home Instead High Peak, we are looking to grow our team of Care Professionals. We provide award-winning home care of the highest quality. Care Assistants are known as Care Professionals, and the support they deliver is designed to help our clients live independently in their own homes. While our service is companionship-led, it is important that you are comfortable delivering all aspects of personal care as our clients' needs change.

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional. We encourage people from different sectors to apply, as we provide FULL training from the start. Since we care for clients in their homes, a driving license and access to a vehicle are desirable for community outings and appointments.

Responsibilities of a Care Professional:

• Minimum 1-hour visits
• Introducing yourself to new clients
• Matching Care Professionals to clients based on hobbies and interests
• Providing companionship-led care services
• Shopping, household tasks, and preparing fresh food from scratch
• Building strong professional relationships
• Offering a variety of non-medical services to help clients stay independent at home
