As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and comfortably within their own homes. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, and caring to make a difference in our clients' lives. This is a full-time or part-time vacancy working between 7am - 10pm, including alternate weekends, visiting clients in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.

You will visit the same regular clients each week so you can really get to know each other and make a meaningful connection. When you have an initial call with a new client, you will be accompanied and introduced by a colleague who knows them well, so you can really understand each client's needs.

At Home Instead, we know that 15 or 30-minute calls aren't long enough for you to offer exceptional care. That's why we have minimum 1-hour visits to ensure you can take your time with your clients.

Please note, to be eligible to apply for this vacancy, you must live within the East Cheshire region.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to visit your regular clients and offer support according to their care plan and wishes.
• Foster companionship and provide emotional support to clients, promoting wellbeing.
• Support with making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
• Assist clients in maintaining their dignity while helping with personal care tasks such as getting dressed, for those who require assistance.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required; we offer comprehensive in-house training. Any previous care experience, professional or personal, is an advantage.
• You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can provide an excellent, dependable service.
• Must have a caring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
• Must have a valid driving license and dependable transport.
• UK residency is essential; we cannot provide working visas.
• Flexible working hours, including alternate weekends.
• Must live in or near Wilmslow/Alderley Edge; nearby areas include Macclesfield, Handforth, Wythenshawe.
