Job summary

A local caregiving service is seeking compassionate Care Professionals in Newcastle-under-Lyme to provide support to clients in their homes. This role offers flexible hours and pays between £11.80 and £12.80 per hour with additional mileage compensation. Training is available for all applicants, and drivers with their vehicles are essential. Responsibilities include engaging clients in activities, assisting with personal care, and ensuring they have a clean living environment. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with regular clients in a supportive environment.

At Home Instead Newcastle & Stoke, we offer :-

• Every visit lasting 1 hour or longer with all clients.
• Earn £11.80 - £12.80 per hour, plus 30p per mile.
• Travel time given between visits to allow you to get to your next client without rushing.
• Variety of shift patterns to choose from to suit your current commitments.

Being a driver is essential with access to a reliable car as you be travelling to clients’ homes.

Job Description

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Travel to visit your regular clients and offer support according to their care plan and their wishes.
• Engage in activities, support your client to continue their hobbies, and brighten their day.
• Support with making meals and keeping the home clean and tidy.
• Allow clients to maintain their dignity whilst assisting them with personal care tasks like getting changed, for those who require your assistance.

Qualifications

We welcome anyone with experience to our team, however, full training is provided, so no experience is necessary.

Must hold a valid driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
