AtHome InsteadManchester Central & Tameside, we support people in our local community to stay at home, where they feel happiest and most comfortable. We are looking for people to visit local clients inTameside during evenings and weekends,with some travel toStockportrequired.

You must be able to commit to 7am - 2:15pm or 4:15pm/5:30pm - 10:15pm. All include alternate weekends. You'll start with a lighter schedule while we bring new clients on board, giving you the perfect opportunity to ease into the role and build your hours steadily over time.

At Home Instead, we understand that deliveringtop-quality carecan't be done in just 15-minute visits, and no one should feel rushed. That's why we offera minimum of 1-hour visits, along with appropriatetravel time, so you can give your clients theattention they deserve, withmileage reimbursementincluded. We carefullypairour Care Professionals with clients based on skills, personality, and interests. For all initial visits with new clients, you'll be introduced withthe support of a colleague, ensuring you have the opportunity totruly understandyour client and their needs.

• £13.00-£14.00 per hourplus35p per mile.
• £26.00-£28.00 per hour on bank holidays.
• Access toearly pay scheme- be paid up to 50% of your monthly earnings instantly.

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Home Care Assistant:

• Support withhousehold taskssuch as tidying, cleaning and laundry.
• Make, or assist to make your client's favouritemeals.
• Offercompanionship and social support, engaging with your client'shobbiesand getting to know what they enjoy most.
• Support withpersonal caretasks such as showering and getting ready.
• Take your client out to places of their choice, e.g.to the local shops or a garden centre.
• Writeaccurate daily notesand report any concerns as per company procedure.
• Administermedicationand record appropriately.

Requirements:

• Experience is not requireddue to our comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must have a fulldriver's licenceandyour own vehicle.
• You must bereliable and punctualto ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must have acaring, friendly personalityand behappy to have a chat.
• Must be available to work at least 3 weekdays as well as alternate weekends.
