Qualified care practitioner or equivalent with a commitment to further training.
Experience in care homes or as a senior carer is essential.

Administer medication and manage wound care for residents.
Lead and supervise the care team while monitoring health.

Willing to undertake further clinical training

Medication
Tissue viability/wound management
Health Monitoring
Physiological assessment and care planning
Leadership and supervision of the care team

Person Specification:

Education, training and qualifications

Care practitioner award or equivalent
Willing to undertake further clinical training
Willing to undertake training qualification

Knowledge

Able to demonstrate specific knowledge of clinical care in the older person

Experience

Care home, Social Care or caring experience as a senior carer
Experience working as a care practitioner
