This is an exciting opportunity to join our social care, Care Services Payments team, at Calderdale Council. The team supports the Adults and Children's Social Care directorates and is responsible for ensuring that providers of care services are paid correctly and promptly. The team's aim is to improve the management of provider invoices by working collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to ensure timely payments and prompt resolution of invoice queries.
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Care Payments Officer to join our busy finance team. The officer will process a range of financial transactions related to provider payments, working closely with providers to maintain a high-quality, customer-focused service. It is essential to process and record all financial transactions accurately and in line with adult and children’s contracts. Good communication skills, teamwork, initiative, deadline management, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
