Job description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible care navigation supervisor, with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic teams at Derby Road and Pinewood Surgeries in Ipswich. The vacancy is offered on a part-time basis for 20.25 hours a week. The days and hours are as follows, however, this may be negotiable for the right candidate; Thursday 8:00-18:30 and Friday 7:45-18.30.

Flexibility is crucial to accommodate training, holidays and occasional sickness. To be considered for this position, you should be able to work calmly and professionally as part of a team, with the ability to multi-task.

We plan to hold interviews w/c 3rd November 2025.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide leadership to the care navigator/reception team.
  • Deal with any escalated queries and requests from patients or team.
  • Ensure scanning and filling is up to date.
  • Assist the practice manager with any complaints.
  • Manage the reception rota arranging cover for absences.
  • Support the induction and training of new employees.
  • Carry out start and end of day procedures, ensure team follow procedures.
