Job description

Here at Alltogether Care Services, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Care Manager to join our award-winning organisation.

Alltogether Care Services is a high-quality home care provider supporting individuals to remain as independent as possible, either through the support they receive within their own home or within their community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing outstanding quality of care and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  2. Supervise and support the wider care team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate (CI) regulations and other relevant legislation.
  4. Engage with service users and their families to ensure satisfaction with services provided, addressing any concerns promptly.
  5. Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively and participate in the on-call rota as necessary.
  6. Effectively manage complaints and incidents.
  7. Undertake training and development to stay up-to-date with the law, best practices, and changes to company policy.
  8. Support business development and reach goals and KPIs.
  9. Work closely with the Director and senior management on innovation and improvement models.
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Care Manager within a Homecare organisation.
  • Proven experience and understanding of Care Inspectorate inspections at a "Good" or "Outstanding" level.
  • Strong understanding of care practices, legislation, and best practices.
  • Previous experience as a Care Manager or Registered Manager within social care is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships with service users, families, and staff members.
  • Fully computer literate with administrative and staff management skills.
  • SVQ 4 and management qualification in line with SSSC requirements.
