Job summary

Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse ready to lead and coordinate high-quality palliative care services for children and young people? Join our dedicated team at East Anglia Children's Hospice (EACH) as a care manager at our Treehouse hospice. As a care manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of outstanding palliative care services. Working alongside another care manager and reporting to the service manager, you will lead a team of team leaders and care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and their families.

Main duties of the job
  • Oversee the delivery of care services and manage daily operations.
  • Lead and support team leaders and care coordination teams.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and contribute to service development.
  • Manage rotas, on-call arrangements, and resource allocation.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and staff development.
  • Collaborate with external partners and represent EACH at key meetings.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and safeguarding processes.
