Job description

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? We’re seeking an experienced and dynamicCare Managerto oversee the operations of Supported Accommodation and community-based services across Gloucester and Bristol.

Please note this role is for 1 year cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations across multiple services, ensuring seamless care delivery and a safe, supportive environment for service users
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Chair internal meetings and confidently represent the service externally
  • Manage budgets and contracts to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the service
  • Oversee care assessments and the development of person-centred plans to meet individual needs
  • Uphold health and safety standards and ensure full compliance with regulations, including those set by the CQC
  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, and partner organisations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and management experience within the care sector
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Sound understanding of relevant care legislation and best practices
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and contracts
  • Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care—or willingness to work towards it
  • Ability to travel between service locations

Must be able to travel between sites. We currently have supported living units in Gloucester but now looking to expand into Bristol.

You will be expected to work 40 hours per week. This may include evening, weekend work and some on call duties in the event of an emergency.
