Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Personal Advisor (Grade F) to support care-experienced young people as they transition to independent adulthood. The role is hybrid and full-time (37 hours per week) with a salary range of £32,597 to £35,412 per year.

You will build trusting relationships, manage a caseload, develop Pathway Plans and advocate for access to housing, education, employment or training, and required services.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for care-experienced young people.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Children in Care and Care Leavers.
• Develop and review Pathway Plans and advocate on behalf of young people.
• Help young people access education, employment or training and suitable accommodation.
