Job summary

Amica Care Trust's Greenlands Meadow care home in Taunton is hiring a Chef or Cook to join the brand-new catering team. This permanent role offers £16.00 per hour, with a variety of shifts and no late evenings, aiming for a healthy work-life balance.

You'll prepare nutritious meals for residents, support menu development, and ensure food safety and presentation to the highest standards. Experience in care settings and relevant catering qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Catering qualification NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or above.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook delicious, nutritious meals tailored to residents' needs.
• Support menu development and seasonal events; ensure safety and presentation.
