Job summary

Limewood Care Home in Stafford is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team within a specialist care setting. You will help with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and ensure food safety, while accommodating individual dietary needs and modified diets where required.

You will also assist with deliveries, storage and kitchen organisation, contributing to a safe, well-run kitchen and a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation is desirable but not essential.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• A reliable, hardworking and positive approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a care environment.
