Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a proactive Team Leader to assist the Registered Manager in the daily operation of the home and to oversee the delivery of high‑quality care. You will lead the staff team, monitor standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting service users to live as independently as possible.

You will be passionate about motivating staff, promoting best practice, and developing the team.

Qualifications

• NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3/5 or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals with communication difficulties is desirable.
• UK Driving Licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Manager in day-to-day running of the home.
• Monitor quality of care and support to ensure high standards.
• Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and complied with.
• Lead and delegate on shifts and supervise staff.
• Provide record-keeping and documentation as required.
• Support staff development and conduct regular supervisions.
• Act as a positive role model and promote best practice.
