Job description

Title - Support Worker
Pay Rate - £20-22
Location - Angus

Are you an experienced Support Worker with access to your own car?
Looking to work with a local authority, with great shift patterns?
Suitable candidates will be happy to work on a contract basis offering excellent pay rates up to £22 p/h. Earning you an excellent salaries.
The post is working with adults in a care home setting within the Angus area supporting with meal prep, medication prompt and supporting Independence. As a Support Worker you will be a committed and caring individual with relevant experience working in a care setting.

Shift patterns are as follows:
Day Support (2:1)
8am-8pm or 7am-8pm
£20/hour (Umbrella)
Waking Night (1:1)
8pm-8am
£22/hour (Umbrella)

The successful Adult Support Worker will be responsible for:
Working effectively on their own as well as part of a team
Recognising and encouraging the rights of service users within all areas of their life and to assist them to make informed choices and decisions
Working in a professional manner, meeting National Care Standards, setting appropriate boundaries

In ordered to be considered for this post, you must be:
Confident and experienced with challenging behaviour
Comfortable with handover documentation and moving & handling
Car drivers preferred
Full-time availability preferred
