Bupa UK is hiring a part-time Receptionist at Shockerwick House Care Home near Bath. The role is 20 hours per week, weekend only, with a salary of £13.30–£14.30 per hour depending on experience.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and manage enquiries, offering face-to-face and telephonic support in a caring environment. Responsibilities include showing prospective residents around, supporting the Home Manager with clerical tasks, and ensuring timely responses while maintaining

Qualifications

• You’ve worked as a receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service.
• You’re friendly, approachable and well organised, able to build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Your caring attitude underpins all you do and helps make a real difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for visitors to the home.
• Manage new enquiries and provide advice and support face to face and by phone.
• Conduct show-arounds within the care home and support with clerical duties as required.
• Ensure timely responses and complete daily and weekly tasks.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager and Administrator to maintain paperwork and filing.
