NHS Scotland is seeking a Programme Manager to lead care home improvement initiatives in Tayside. This role involves coordinating workstreams to enhance care quality through a person-centred approach, requiring exceptional skills in program management and collaboration within multi-agency partnerships.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of the Tayside Care Home Collaborative Improvement plan with a focus on embedding ‘My Life, My Care, My Home, the Health Care Framework’. This role supports the multiagency partnership commitment to improving outcomes for residents in care homes through a collaborative, person-centred and integrated approach.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for coordinating key workstreams aimed at strengthening the collaboration and plays a pivotal role in ensuring consistent and sustainable improvements in the quality of care. Key to this is the ability to work in partnership with the independent sector and statutory partners.
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to secure clinical and operational engagement. They will exhibit a demonstrable in-depth understanding of programme management and improvement methodologies, with recognised expertise in practical application. The ability to work within a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and being responsive to changing priorities is essential.
