Job summary

Bramley Health is recruiting an Operations Manager for Maple Grove, a newly refurbished 48-bed care home in Rickmansworth opening in March 2027. You will lead the administrative, operational, and health & safety procedures to ensure smooth daily running and uphold the company culture and values.

You will oversee staff rotas, payroll queries, inductions, audits, and GDPR compliance, while driving improvements across facilities and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience.
• Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and Word.
• Good spelling and grammar.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• 50 wpm typing speed.
• Clear understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
• Team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff rota and payroll queries; collate worked hours, sickness, holidays, etc.
• Discuss invoice discrepancies with registered manager and ensure induction packs and files are up to date.
• Coordinate induction programs with HR for new starters; ensure audits for operational and health & safety aspects are completed.
• Lead day-to-day improvements and repairs of care home infrastructure; sign off maintenance jobs.
• Maintain records, service user funds, and petty cash; manage keys and access control.
• Liaise with registered manager; handle complaints and prepare reports for governance meetings.
• Oversee training supervision and GDPR/compliance reporting.
