Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking a Registered Care Home Manager for a permanent, full-time role in Havant, Hampshire. Up to £45,000 per annum. You will lead the care team, oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality, person-centred care in a regulated setting.

The role requires experience in senior care leadership, a Level 3 qualification with progression to Level 5, strong CQC knowledge and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or senior leadership role within a residential care home, nursing home or similarly regulated care environment.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification, with a willingness to work towards Level 5.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance requirements and quality assurance processes.
• Experience leading, supervising and developing care teams.
• Knowledge of person-centred care planning and the needs of residents living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
• An understanding of safe medication management and care-related procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A compassionate, proactive approach with the ability to motivate others and maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team and oversee daily operations to meet high standards.
• Ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance across the service.
• Oversee care planning, including dementia care and Alzheimer's support.
• Manage staff supervision, training and performance development.
• Monitor medication procedures and safe practice.
• Conduct audits and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Build relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
• Foster teamwork and a culture of continuous development.
