Registered Home Manager

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire

Salary: £65,000

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain a warm, caring environment geared to meeting individual needs and providing maximum independence, respecting individuals' rights to privacy, freedom of choice, and personal expression.
  2. Maintain all legal and statutory records, including displayed records concerning the home, insurance certificates, and registration.
  3. Investigate complaints, compile reports, and take appropriate action if required.
  4. Liaise and cooperate with CQC inspectors and inspections, maintaining regulatory compliance in all areas.
  5. Oversee all staffing requirements and manage the recruitment of suitable employees for the home.
  6. Ensure effective inductions and identify and meet the training needs of all team members.
  7. Conduct regular supervisions, assessments, lead team meetings, and ensure the Care Home is a friendly and supportive caring environment.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (e.g., RMA)
  2. Experience as a Registered Manager
  3. Experience managing a Care/Nursing Home for older people
  4. Experience working with budgets and business plans
