Fast Pace Recruitment Services are working with a valued client who are currently looking to recruit a Care Home Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Care Home Manager to join a forward-thinking and innovative care home operator. You will oversee a care home consisting of circa 50 beds which supports elderly residents with their medical, emotional & social needs and play a key role with the ongoing development of the care home and quality of care provided whilst ensuring all regulatory care standards are exceeded.

The Role:
You will undertake a range of services which include the following:

1. Responsible for setting & embedding the highest standards of care to ensure the Care Home achieves the best possible grades from the Care Inspectorate.
2. Responsible for the day-to-day marketing of the Care Home to ensure full occupancy levels are reached with a waiting list in place.
3. Responsible for managing the Care Home's P&L to maximise revenue, reduce agency spend and to drive efficiency & productivity.
4. Lead and support a team consisting of Deputy Home Manager, Unit Nurse Managers, Nurses, Carers and Domestic/Administration staff, bringing out the best in your colleagues.
5. Train, support and develop a team of staff, helping them develop and thrive in their roles.
6. Provide support to Area/Regional Manager ensuring quality standards and operations remain consistent.
7. Collaborate closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans that are unique to each resident.
8. Observe daily interactions and conditions, ensuring all care documentation is precise, legal, and easily understood by the team.
9. Start each shift by organizing and guiding your team, ensuring everyone knows their role in delivering top-notch care.
10. Oversee shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
11. Perform routine observations and manage specific health needs, always with an eye on detail and safety.
12. Foster strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
13. Support residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
14. Be responsive to team input, ensuring resident health and well-being are always prioritised.
15. Uphold the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
16. Facilitate social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
17. Maintain a vigilant eye on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all.
18. Be prepared to act swiftly in emergencies, utilizing the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve our care.

Requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification. (Must have valid NMC pin with no restrictions or conditions)
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Care Home/Deputy Home Manager with in-depth knowledge of regulatory care standards.
* Able to work as an independent & autonomous Care Home Manager.
* A good team player who possesses effective communication & relationship building skills.
* A pro-active & motivated person who endeavours all types of challenges.
* A valid Full UK driving licence. (Desired but not essential)

Package Details:
* Salary £50,000 per annum.
* Performance bonus.
* 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays.
