Responsibilities

• Maintain the exterior of the building and grounds to a safe, tidy standard.
• Coordinate and manage building works/refurbishments with minimal disturbance to residents.
• Carry out routine monitoring and repairs on all systems; liaise with Home Manager for specialist tasks.
• Perform safety tests and checks (boilers, fire alarms, water systems) and document results.
• Advise Home Manager on potential maintenance issues (heating, electrics, gas, equipment).
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and safe working environment in line with regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment safely and store properly.
• Assist with emergencies, provide guidance to staff, and support with transporting residents when needed.
