Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Bank Maintenance person to help keep our care homes safe, well-kept, and welcoming. The role offers flexibility to tailor your schedule as part of a bank team, while contributing to high standards of maintenance and resident wellbeing.

You will perform routine maintenance checks, carry out repairs, coordinate with engineers when needed, and help ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff on a flexible, part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic property maintenance tasks is desirable.
• Ability to perform safety checks and report faults promptly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of care home residents and staff.
• Maintain premises and grounds to a high standard.
• Perform regular maintenance checks.
• Carry out necessary repairs.
• Contact engineers or service agents when needed.
• Conduct fire, basic electrical, and appliance checks with confidence.
• Report and promptly action any faults.
• Keep the grounds tidy.
