Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking a Maintenance Operative for Hollymere House in Crewe, Cheshire. The role is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week), with occasional evenings and weekends. You will report defects, maintain exterior areas, and assist with deliveries and contractors on site.

• Be on-call for emergencies which may arise in or out of hours.
• Organised, reliable, and confident in planning checks.
• Warm, approachable, and brimming with positivity.
• Previous experience in a care setting is a bonus, but personality and values matter most.

Responsabilités

• Report and action defects to appliances, damaged furniture and hazards.
• Maintain the home exterior and grounds, including waste areas and access routes.
• Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks as per procedures.
• Test and log portable appliances and fire safety equipment as required.
• Assist deliveries and supervise with contractors onsite.
