Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Laundry Assistant to support the care home laundry operations. You will ensure residents’ laundry is cleaned and prepared for redistribution, using washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.

You should be organised, proactive, and a reliable team player, willing to participate in ongoing training. The role includes following health and safety standards to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Maintain high standards of work while handling resident belongings with care.
• Organise and prioritise tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Neatly fold, hang or prepare clean laundry for redistribution.
• Keep the laundry area clean, tidy and organised.
