Job summary

Nazareth Care Home is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of housekeeping staff and maintain the highest cleanliness standards for residents. You will manage the cleaning rota, supervise tasks, and ensure infection control procedures are followed, while supporting wellbeing and safety across the home.

Full training will be provided, and you’ll benefit from DBS/PVG disclosure funded, ongoing development, and access to employee support services and discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisor role.
• Excellent record keeping and communication skills.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organise and supervise the work of the domestic staff.
• Manage cleaning rota to ensure efficient coverage.
• Order provisions and non-consumables within budget levels.
• Ensure the home is clean and well presented at all times.
