River Court Care Home in Watford, Hertfordshire, is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and to support laundry services. The role contributes to residents’ comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.

You will clean resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard, assist with laundry duties, follow infection control procedures and work closely with the team to ensure a well-organised environment.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing with clear labelling.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures to carry out tasks safely and efficiently.
