Job summary

Care Concern Group is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant for Valarian Court Care Home in Didcot, Oxfordshire, caring for 70 residents across nursing, residential, dementia and respite services.

The role involves cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards, plus supporting laundry duties with labeling and care. You’ll follow infection control protocols and work alternate weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Eligible to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents.
• Assist with laundry tasks and ensure items are labelled and handled with care.
• Work closely with the team to uphold hygiene and presentation standards.
