Job summary

Bradda View Nursing & Residential Home in the Isle of Man is seeking Domestics to join the team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the Home, ensuring Infection Prevention and Control standards are met in line with Health and Safety regulations.

Key duties include following cleaning schedules, performing deep cleans when required, and supporting the care team while reporting to the Deputy/Registered Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within care or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to comply with infection control and health & safety policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules (daily/weekly/monthly) as outlined for the housekeeping team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Home.
• Ensure rooms, furnishings and fixtures are clean and hygienic, disinfecting where necessary.
• Perform emergency housekeeping when incidents occur.
• Keep toilets and bathrooms clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Undertake any additional duties as required by the Registered Manager.
