Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd in Kirkwall, Scotland is seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our care team. You will help maintain a clean and safe environment for Service Users and staff, supporting the smooth running of the home.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Ability to manage pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Genuine interest in working in a social care environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
• Ensure the Home’s furniture, furnishings and fittings are sufficiently clean.
• Ensure all surfaces of floors, walls and ceilings are sufficiently clean.
• Clean carpets when necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and yellow/black bins daily, disposing waste safely.
• Clean internal windows monthly.
• Clean bedrooms weekly on a rota basis; communal areas cleaned daily.
• Clean sinks, en-suites, bathrooms and toilets daily.
• Store chemicals per COSHH requirements.
• Re-stock paper products and dispensers.
