Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Deputy Manager at a Gloucestershire care home. You will lead the care team to provide safe, person-centred care and support the Registered Manager. Required: 12 months right to work in the UK, experience leading care assistants, a QCF Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care or higher, and knowledge of CQC KLOE and regulatory frameworks.

42 hours/week. Benefits include £35,000 per annum, refer-a-friend up to £1000, funded training to QCF Level 5, and a company pension

Qualifications

• 12 months minimum right to work in the UK.
• Experience leading a team of care assistants.
• QCF Level 3 Diploma or higher in Health and Social Care.
• Good knowledge of CQC KLOE and regulatory frameworks.
• Available to work 42 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Induction of new team members and supervision of existing staff.
• Completion of care audits to ensure best practice.
• Care plans would be person-centred, focusing on dignity and individuality.
• Liaising with family, care professionals and residents to ensure holistic care provision.
• Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding risks and incidents.
• Keep administrative records up to date (care notes, medication charts, meeting notes).
