Location: EN9 Waltham Abbey

Hours: 40 hours per week, some supernumerary

Salary: £37k plus super benefits

This is an ideal role for an experienced care team leader looking for the next step, or an experienced deputy looking to work in a supportive, Good rated care home.

I am seeking a passionate and committed Care Home Deputy Manager to join this medium-sized, Good rated residential and dementia care home that is highly regarded in the area and part of a well-regarded care home group specializing in residential and dementia care for the elderly.

As Deputy Manager, you will ensure excellent quality care is provided by working hand-in-hand with the Home Manager to lead a highly skilled and dedicated team, ensuring every resident receives the exceptional care they deserve.

Requirements:
  • Ideally a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake.
  • Experience in a leadership role in a care home or similar setting.
  • Solid knowledge of CQC standards and a commitment to delivering outstanding compliance.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A positive, approachable, and team-focused attitude.
Your Role Will Be To:
  • Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated and committed staff team to deliver outstanding care every single day.
  • Take charge of day-to-day care home operations and keep everything running smoothly, especially when the Home Manager is away.
  • Help maintain high standards and cultivate a culture within the team where everyone strives to exceed expectations.
  • Support, train, and develop staff so they are engaged, motivated, and performing at their best.
