As the Care Home Deputy Manager of a Barchester care home, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will work closely with the General Manager, taking on leadership duties in their absence, and be responsible for ensuring care standards, motivating your team, and overseeing the well-being of every resident.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will be expected to lead by example, monitor standards through regular audits and supervised clinical practice, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will develop and deliver strategies to help you achieve your goals and provide the best possible quality of life for the residents. You will need experience in managing different health needs, safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments, as well as HR, sales, marketing, and budget management skills.
