Orders of St. John Care Trust in High Wycombe is recruiting a Cook to join the catering team at The Heights. You will prepare meals for residents, support dietary requirements and contribute to a high-quality dining experience in a not-for-profit care setting.

We value practical kitchen expertise, a commitment to residents, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff to deliver nutritious and enjoyable meals for older people. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen and catering for specialist diets.
• Ability to prepare meals for large groups for residents.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate held or in progress; Level 2 Diploma preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cook and assemble meals for residents in line with dietary needs.
• Ensure high-quality dining experiences and portion control.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, safety standards and equipment cleanliness.
• Work as part of the catering team to support residents and colleagues.
