Job summary

Laurel Place, part of Exemplar Health Care, seeks an experienced Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in Bishop Auckland. You will develop menus, interact with residents for feedback, and ensure food hygiene standards are met while working within the Catering Team.

The role offers induction, buddy system, ongoing training, and opportunities to learn and progress within Exemplar Health Care's supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering nutritious meals for varied dietary needs.
• Induction, buddy system and ongoing training provided.
• Food hygiene certificate and catering qualification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food for residents.
• Understand residents' needs to develop suitable menus.
• Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals.
