Cook Residential Care Home is seeking a dedicated cook to join our team in Ewerby, Sleaford. This full-time, permanent role involves preparing nutritious meals for residents and staff, following menus and accommodating dietary needs.

You will help maintain high hygiene standards and work with the care team to create a welcoming dining environment. We offer £14.47 per hour plus incentives, 28 days of annual leave, a pension scheme, training opportunities and 8:00am–4:00pm shifts with a 34-hour

Qualifications

• At least 2 years catering experience, preferably in a busy environment.
• Level 3 Catering qualification or willingness to attain one.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks.
• Follow menus while offering residents a range of choices.
• Cater to individual dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
• Order ingredients and manage food supplies within budget.
• Collaborate with care team to meet residents' needs.
• Create a welcoming, enjoyable mealtime environment.
