Job summary

As a Community Lead within Barchester's Residential Care Homes, you'll play a crucial role in creating a vibrant, supportive, and person-centered environment for our residents. With senior-level care experience, you'll supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care and support. You'll be responsible for some clinical duties, such as recording observations and carrying out simple wound dressings, while also building strong relationships within the home and externally.

Across everything you do, you'll be a role model for your team and someone our residents and their families can trust to provide a safe, reassuring and happy environment. ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Community Lead within our Residential Care Homes at Barchester, you'll help to make our residents' lives stimulating and fulfilling so that we can deliver the person-centred care and support they deserve. Always focusing on respecting our residents' independence, privacy, dignity and choice, while leading and supervising our team of Carers and Senior Carers.

We'll look for a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care plus a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
