A leading name in care services is seeking a Community Lead in Herne Bay. This role involves ensuring residents receive person-centred care while supervising a dynamic team. Ideal candidates will possess senior-level experience in care, relevant qualifications, and a commitment to creating a supportive environment for clients and families.
As a Community Lead within the Residential Care Homes at Barchester, you'll help to make the residents' lives stimulating and fulfilling, delivering person-centred care and support. You'll be a role model for the team, providing a safe, reassuring and happy environment for the residents and their families.
The role of Community Lead will involve some clinical responsibilities, including recording observations on weight and blood pressure, and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures. You'll need senior-level care experience, and have supervised others while developing an understanding of providing clinical care for the older person. You'll also need a Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, and a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification.
