Job summary

West Bank Residential Home in Ross-on-Wye is seeking a domestic assistant to work 32 hours per week. You will join a friendly team and contribute to a clean, odour-free environment for residents.

Duties include cleaning communal areas and residents’ bedrooms and ensuites to a high standard, adhering to policies, using protective clothing, and undertaking laundry when required.

Training provided on health and safety and the use of chemicals; prior experience not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role but training will be provided.
• Warm personality and enthusiastic about the role.
• Contact with Residents so communication skills are important.
• A good team player who works well with others.
• Conscientious about achieving high standards of cleanliness across the home.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas of the home to a high standard.
• Clean residents' bedrooms and ensuites.
• Follow policies; wear appropriate uniform and PPE.
• Laundry duties may be required (washing, drying, ironing, sorting and delivering laundry).
