Job summary

Excelcare Holdings in Cambridge is seeking a Cleaner/Domestic at Primrose Croft Care Home. You will join a compassionate housekeeping team to keep bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas clean to a high standard, ensuring the home is safe, comfortable and welcoming for residents.

You will perform deep cleans on a rota, dispose of rubbish, and report maintenance issues in line with policies. COSHH and infection control are required, and you will engage with residents to promote independence,

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Undertake deep cleans on a rota basis (floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, walls).
• Dispose of rubbish and report maintenance issues.
• Comply with COSHH and Infection Control regulations.
• Engage with residents, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
