Orchard Care Homes is seeking a Chef/Cook for bank staff in Middleton, Langley, Greater Manchester. You will plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals, supervise a small team, and ensure food safety and quality in a busy care home kitchen.

Role offers rates of pay at £14.11 per hour, with training and development opportunities and a supportive team environment. You’ll work under the Home Manager to deliver daily meals that meet individual dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of texture modified diets.
• Knowledge of managing diets and handling food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to individuals' needs.
• Supervise kitchen team, manage orders and stock levels.
• Ensure food safety through HACCP, Health & Safety, and related policies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance.
