Orchard Care Homes is seeking a Chef/Cook for a bank position at Langfield Care Home, Langley, Middleton, Greater Manchester. The role involves planning and preparing nutritious meals, supervising a small team, managing orders and stock, and maintaining hygiene to meet Food Safety standards.

Rates of pay are £14.11 per hour. You will work under the Home Manager and care staff to tailor menus to residents’ needs, while following HACCP, COSHH and health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH, Environmental Health requirements.

Responsabilités

• plan, prepare and cook a variety of meals that are nutritious and tailored to individuals' preferences and dietary needs.
• supervise the kitchen team, manage food orders, stock levels and equipment maintenance.
• ensure food safety compliance and that the kitchen stays clean and hygienic.
