Job summary

Kings Park Care Home in Greater Manchester is seeking a Chef to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that support residents' wellbeing and daily comfort within a warm, community-focused setting.

You will take ownership of food preparation and service, tailor meals to dietary needs, maintain presentation, hygiene and food safety, and contribute to menu planning and kitchen organisation as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, nutritious and enjoyable meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Take ownership of food preparation and service while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and day-to-day service as part of a supportive team.
• Ensure meals are presented attractively and consistently for residents.
