Qualifications

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure enjoyable meal times.
  • Deputising for the head chef during their absence.

About You:
  • Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a care or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Committed to customer care and first-class service
  • Recognised qualification in food preparation/cooking (NVQ level 2 or higher)
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
  • Empathy and a desire to make a difference in residents' lives
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
