What you'll be doing

• Supporting the head chef in planning and providing high-quality meals meeting nutritional and dietary requirements
• Planning, preparing, and serving balanced meals tailored to individual preferences and medical needs
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure enjoyable meal times
• Deputising for the head chef during absences, maintaining high-quality food service

Could you be part of our team?

About You:

• Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a care or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Committed to customer care and first-class service
• A recognised qualification in food preparation/cooking, at least NVQ level 2
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference in residents' lives
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
