Job description

Hours: Agency basis (36 hours) with possibility of permanent role. 8am -5:30pm

Pay rate: £13.72 (per hour)

What you'll be doing:

As the Chef in the care home, you will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. Additionally, you will lead and supervise the kitchen staff, making sure they understand and follow proper food hygiene and preparation practices.

Working in a large Care home offering a modern, homely environment for older adults requiring EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) and residential care. Built to the highest standards, the home is dedicated to helping residents maintain and enhance their independence.

Please note that a DBS will be required for this position.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Experience of working within the last 5 years as a chef
